Arizona Dreamin’ 2013 was a blast, despite my dearth of tweets. I was just too busy meeting great authors, comparing TBR lists with fellow readers, and having a great time. The event’s goody bag was overloaded with awesome treats, and baskets of raffle prizes seemed to replicate like bunnies through the venue. If you like romance novels, dreamy dudes, cool chicks, and free stuff, AD 2014 is where you need to be next May!
I took some time out this month to participate as a judge for the Fantasy, Futuristic, and Paranormal RWA chapter’s “On The Far Side” contest. I feel privileged to read so many exciting, as-yet-unpublished works. As a newbie, I learned so much from the feedback of contest judges, and I’m grateful for the chance to do the same for others. Great things are in store for these creative authors. Best of luck!
I made some headway (though not as much as I’d like) on Wholly Trinity last month. But I’m setting it aside for a while to focus on getting The Footmen ready for release on July 1, 2013. I’m pouring my efforts into the final rewrite, thanks to the fantastic work and helpful suggestions of my indomitable critique platoon. Then comes formatting for both ebook and print-on-demand versions. With less than a month to go, it’s crunch time!
Watch for a cover reveal next week…
