Status Update—December 2013

I cannot believe it is December already! Only one more month left in 2013! Where did this year go?

I wanted to let you know I’ve been busy over the past two months since I’ve done an update. Portents, the sequel to Brimstone, is now available in ebook and paperback formats. The blog tour was loads of fun. If you or someone you know is interested in paranormal suspense that doesn’t involve werewolves or vampires, please give this series a try.

More big news: the rough draft of Wholly Trinity is finally done! The final chapters will soon be with my beta reader. I’ll give it another read-through from start to finish, then shoot it off to my critique partners by mid-December. I’m as eager to get this sucker published as fans are to read it, but I also want to make sure it’s as polished as I can shine it. Please be patient, Desert Ménage Trilogy fans!

I’m heading to my first-ever writers’ retreat this month: a weekend spent with fellow writers in a cozy cabin in northern Arizona. I hope to make some strides on Ingénue… those characters have been clamoring for my attention lately.

Wishing you and yours a lovely and loving holiday season!

We Have A Winner!

Thanks to everyone who participated in my royalty-donation drive in October. Thanks to you, 170 books were sold that month, which means a $170 donation is on its way to one n ten! I encourage you to visit their website and learn more about the amazing work they do to reach out to LGBTQ youth.

In other fun news, Stephanie Moore has won the signed copies of Brimstone and Portents. Thanks to everyone who entered the rafflecopter giveaway by liking my Facebook fan page, following me on Twitter, and all those contest tweets. Thank you so much for spreading the news about Amanda’s story!
